Definition
It is a device in the form of a yo-yo (toy), placed in the tympanic membrane, allows to communicate (part located ear behind the eardrum) middle ear with the external ear (part of the ear with the auricle of the ear) through the tympanic (eardrum) membrane. Thus obtained is responsible for eliminating secretions of the middle ear.
Causes
IndicationsL’ use of the transtympanique aerator allows correct eardrum ventilation when the pressure prevailing within the middle ear is deficient.
