British researchers have found London (AP) – a drug used to faster healing with less scarring. The mean locke to cells with a special substance, those involved in the formation of the skin, the British science magazine reported «New Scientist» (No. 2415, p. 10). The researchers to mark Ferguson of the University of Manchester had added two wounds to the arms thus more than 300 volunteers. In the one they hosed the means with the growth factor TGF-beta-3 an ineffective Bill medicine, in the other wound. Compared be healed the wounds with the new substance faster and would have left few scars, Ferguson said the magazine. The way is still not on the market. With over 60, the best results had been made, said Ferguson. Some are so well healed the wounds with the new means that physicians no longer they found. The researchers were encountered TGF-beta-3 investigation of wounds in mammalian fetus, which healed without scarring. A high proportion of growth had been found in these wounds. This would attract two cell types that hike to cure the injured skin, writes of the “New Scientist”. Ferguson suspect that the skin thus regenerates as quickly, that no scars can result. A special gel, where another team of British and New Zealand scientists researching promises an also faster wound healing with less scarring. The gel inhibits the production of the protein Connexin43, which is involved in the communication between cells. This is inflamed wounds of less, which also have a less scarring result and leave wounds heal faster.
