Understandable: neuroscientist receives “Communicator Award”

Mainz (CNN) – the Frankfurt brain researcher Wolf singer receives the Communicator Prize worth 50,000 euros of German Science tomorrow (Tuesday) in Mainz. Singer wins the award for his talent, «to explain brain research and to provide them with social questions in connection». The prize is awarded by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft and the German Research Foundation. The Director at the Max Planck Institute for brain research in Frankfurt am Main has studied relevant findings on the development of the brain in children and the causes of mental illness.
