Definition

Syndrome (association of signs), resulting in olfactory hallucinations (sense of smell), taste (taste sensations), Visual (sometimes) and auditory (sometimes).

Causes

Tumour of the brain whose headquarters is located near the uncus of the hippocampal (hook in latin). The hippocampus is an area of the brain located in the temporal lobe (on the sides of the brain) to the level of the fifth temporal convolution. The convolutions are infoldings of gray substance (layer composed of willing nerve cell nuclei on the periphery of the brain, such as bark) constituting a sinuous Ridge, separated by grooves on the surface of the brain.
