The technical acts performed by doctors available on the Net in January

-In January 2009, health insurance will be online on his website Ameli.fr the list of technical procedures (scanners, ultrasound, surgery, etc.) performed by physicians, and the rates they usually practiced. Nearly 100 technical acts are identified in this new service.
For each doctor, users can obtain different information. Namely: for a physician to sector 1, tariffs within and outside the course of care are specified; in the case of a practitioner of sector 2, a range of tariffs and the most frequently practiced by the doctor are displayed; and, when acts imaging or anaesthesia are associated with the intervention, the usual rates of these are also indicated.
According to health insurance, “more than 110 million of technical acts are carried out in private clinics and offices of city” each year, including 82 million for the single general regime. Of these 82 million, 56.5% relate to medical imaging. In 2007, 46 million scanners, x-ray, ultrasound and MRI have been made.
Surgical procedures represent only 5% of the total of the technical actions in 2007, with 4 million of acts carried out.
This new online service follows those opened since 2008 as the tariff information and professional contact physicians and rates of dental procedures, under the heading “Addresses and rates”.
