Dijon/Paris (AP) — who as a child to eat scored only hamburgers and French fries, will remain a fast food junkie in adulthood. His life who, however, mainly feeds in kindergarten age on fruit and vegetables, remains faithful to the healthy kitchen. Scientists of the University of Dijon have seen this in a long term study. Man thus appropriates his eating habits at the age of two to three years as the University reported on Wednesday. The research group has between 1982 and 1999 observed the eating habits of 418 two-to three-year children and thereby recorded their preferences for certain courts. In 2001 and 2002, these children were asked about their eating habits again. They now had the same preferences as in kindergarten age adults sometimes almost. Thus, neither the profession nor the body weight of the parents played a role. Further studies to show how children acquire their taste preferences. Previous studies have shown that longer breast-fed children later rather tend to a balanced diet. Now also pregnant women should be included in the studies to determine how mothers influence the eating habits of their children.
