Stinkin’ food: dangerous consequences

Posted by: Ressie Pevey  |  Category: News  |  Views: 5

Wiesbaden (ddp). All food must be marked with a date of minimum durability. The words «at least use by» means that the manufacturer guarantees up to that time the full quality, such as the best possible taste or the specified quantities of vitamin. Even after the expiry of the date the foods are generally edible, and may also be sold. But, sick and weak immune people should not eat food, whose expiration date has expired. Products, where germs can form must have an expiration date. This includes for example ground beef. If the date is exceeded, the food in any case in the garbage should walk. Those who consumed it yet, can contract the sometimes dangerous diseases. Are “only” spoiled food business, in which they were purchased, is the first target for the complaint. The most important evidence is the receipt. Business must take back the complained goods, replace with a flawless product, or refund the value. Health problems occur however after the consumption of tainted fish, the control of foodstuffs should be informed. Finally, other customers may be affected. Outside the opening hours of the authorities, local police takes over their duties. Even if non-product items in cans, jars or packages are found, the control of foodstuffs is responsible. Multiple batches of same production may not correctly. Hygienic shortcomings such as fruit flies at the Obsttheke or heavily glaciated cabinets of the Management Board should be reported immediately. Are the faults then not removed, you should again turn the food monitoring, experts advise.
