SPIRONOLACTONE ALTIZIDE BIOGARAN Altizide + spironolactone scored in 15 mg and 25 mg tablets Action
• Épargneur diuretic of potassium whose action is independent of aldosterone and the antihypertensive effect and natriuretic is moderate.
• This type of diuretic activity is comparable to that of spironolactone but with an action on the distal tubule of the kidney tubules (epithelial sodium channel).
• The action appears in 3 to 6 hours after the takeover and persists 12 to 24 hours.
Indications
• High blood pressure
• Syndrome? démateux
Contraindications
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Child of less than 15 years
• Hyperkalemia (> 5 mmol per litre)
• Hyponatremia (< 130 mmol per litre)
• Association with potassium
• Severe hepatic failure
• Renal failure
• Adrenocortical insufficiency
• Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus (danger of hyperkalemia)
• Allergy known to one of the constituents of the medicinal product
• Deficiency folate
Precautions in use
Cirrhotic • with the rate of blood sodium less than 125 mmol per litre
• Subject likely to acidosis
• Regular monitoring of the periodic
• Monitoring of renal function
• Monitoring of liver function especially in the elderly
• Monitoring of blood counts in the case of prolonged use formula
Side effects
• Allergy
• Megaloblastic anemia
• Anorexia
• Constipation
• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain
• Encephalopathy in the cirrhotic
• Skin rash (allergic reaction)
• Hyperkalemia, especially when there is an overdose, or renal failure, or unbalanced diabetes
• Orthostatic hypotension
• Urinary lithiasis
• Nausea
• Risk of dehydration overdosage
• Vomiting
Dosage
1 to 2 tablets per day
Is not recommended to combine this molecule with:
• Of the tricyclic antidepressants
• Anti-inflammatory non-steroidal
