Definition

Angiomatosis neurorétinienne is also called optico-retino-mesencephalic Angiomatosis, Bonnet, Dechaume and White syndrome. It is a set of malformations of the vessels (Angioma) sitting on the same side of the body and combining cirsoïdes of the retina and brain aneurysms. For specialists in neurology, these defects are in the para-diencéphalo-midbrain region. A few patients have by also a stain on the face. It is dysplasia (malformations) vascular neuro-ophthalmic inbound in the phakomatoses. See also Wyburn Mason syndrome.
