Hanover (ddp). The State Chancellery in Hanover signals possible derogation from the previous line in the disputed regulation for the protection of non-smoking in restaurants. In Lower Saxony Prime Minister Christian Wulff and Minister of Social Affairs Mechthild Ross-Luttmann (both CDU) be agreed next week to discuss alternatives to the legal requirements to protect against passive smoking in the catering sector, said a spokesman of the State Chancellery on Tuesday in Hanover. There have always existed agreement about a consistent ban on smoking in the catering sector. Will currently wrestled to the track for reasonable exceptions, the spokesman stressed.
