MEFENACID 100 mg Diclofenac tablets or suppositories 100 mg Action
Anti-inflammatory nonsteroidal with platelet antiagrégantes and analgesic, antipyretic properties.

Indications
• Chronic inflammatory rheumatism (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis)
• Acute inflammatory rheumatism
• Articular rheumatism
• Arthritis microcrystalline
• Low back pain
• Essential dysmenorrhea
• Painful and debilitating osteoarthritis
• Radiculalgie
• Sciatica
• Renal colic

Dosage
Adult: 1 to 2 tablets per day. Do not exceed 100 mg per day.

Contraindications
• Child of less than 15 years
• Pregnancy in the third quarter
• Asthma
• Gastric ulcer
• Duodenal ulcer in evolution
• Delayed hypersensitivity
• Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or one of the constituents of the medicinal product
• Hemorrhage with perforation
• Hepatic impairment
• Severe renal failure
• Allergy to salicylates (aspirin)

Adverse effects
• Gastralgie
• Diarrhea
• Allergic rhinitis
• Urticaria
• Peptic ulcer
• Nausea
• Digestive hemorrhage (outstanding)
• Significant fatigue
• Insomnia
• Irritability
• Headaches
• Peripheral edema
• Leukopenia (decrease the number of white blood cells)
• Vertigo
• Increase in transaminases (exceptional) reflecting a lesion of the liver
• Inflammation of the liver cell
• Decrease in the number of platelets
• Jaundice
• Respiratory hypersensitivity
• Nephrotic syndrome (edema, rates of protein in the blood)

• Bleeding disorders
• Patients under anticoagulant
• Hematological disturbances
Cirrhotic •
• Monitoring of renal function
• Patients with diuretic
• Elderly patients
