Dosage
Adult:
Treatment of attack: 1 to 3 times 15 ml or 1 to 3 bags per day.
Maintenance treatment: 10 ml to 25 ml or 1 to 2 sachets per day.

Child of 7 to 14 years:
Treatment of attack: 16 ml or 1 sachet per day.
Maintenance treatment: 10 ml per day.

1 To 6 years old children: 5 ml to 10 ml per day.

Infants up to 1 year: 5 ml per day.

In the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy: 15 ml 30 ml or 1 to 2 bags three times a day.

Contraindications
• Inflammatory disease of the colon
• Abdominal pain of unknown cause
• Bowel obstruction
• Disease predisposing to occlusion (judgment of the passage of materials and the gas in the intestine)
• Person not to absorb Galactose

Adverse effects
• Sensation of bloating
• Diarrhea requiring a judgment for treatment or a decrease in the amount absorbed

Precautions in use
Laxative abuse is dangerous in infants and young children.

Note
The treatment of chronic constipation must primarily to appeal to the absorption of abundant beverage and a diet rich in fibre. Regular physical activity is also recommended.
