KETUM 100 mg Ketoprofen tablets 50 mg Action
Anti-inflammatory nonsteroidal with platelet antiagrégantes and analgesic, antipyretic properties.

Dosage
• Treatment of attack: 300 mg daily in 2 or 3 outlets
• Maintenance treatment: 100 mg to 200 mg / day in 1-3 taken

Indications
• Arthritis microcrystalline
• Painful and debilitating osteoarthritis
• Renal colic
• Essential dysmenorrhea
• Low back pain
• Radiculalgie
• Articular rheumatism
• Acute inflammatory rheumatism
• Chronic inflammatory rheumatism (rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis)
• Sciatica

Contraindications
• History of allergy or asthma caused by the taking of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including aspirin)
• Asthma
• Pregnancy from the 6th month
• Hemorrhage with perforation
• Hypersensitivity to the ketoprofen or one of the constituents of the medicinal product
• Delayed hypersensitivity
• Liver or heart failure severe
• Recent bleeding from the rectum (for the suppository form)
• Duodenal ulcer in evolution
• Gastric ulcer

Adverse effects
• Increase in transaminases (exceptional) reflecting a lesion of the liver
• Decrease in the number of platelets
• Diarrhea
• Significant fatigue
• Gastralgie
• Digestive hemorrhage
• Jaundice
• Inflammation of the liver cell
• Insomnia
• Severe renal failure
• Irritability
• Leukopenia (decrease the number of white blood cells)
• Headaches
• Nausea
• Peripheral edema
• Allergic rhinitis
• Nephrotic syndrome (edema, high rate of proteins in the blood)
• Peptic ulcer
• Urticaria
• Vertigo

The suppository form may have a local impact type of rectal burning, itching or pain.

Precautions in use
• Gastrointestinal disorders
• Inadequate cardiac
• Patients under anticoagulant
• Elderly patients
• Cirrhotic patients
• Patients with diuretic
• Hematological disturbances
• Monitoring of diuresis
• Monitoring of renal function
• Bleeding disorders
• The complete blood, liver and renal function monitoring is required when processing extends over a long period.

Pregnancy
Adverse effects for the mother and child was highlighted when this drug, as all anti-inflammatory non-steroidal, is used in the last 4 months of pregnancy. This risk is present even for a single decision-making and even late in pregnancy.

Breastfeeding
This drug passes into breast milk, therefore this molecule is deprecated.
