Inserm launches its Internet site for scientific information in health

-The national Institute of health and medical research (Inserm) launches its Web site, which presents itself as a reference in the sciences of life and health, aimed at the general public. The site presents more than fifty records, on health and advances scientists in this area, sparse references, links, images and videos.
It will be regularly enriched records, interviews, and photo reports and video. Obesity, diabetes, breast, records are reviewing the research questions, to bring knowledge to the general public.

In addition to these records, site contains topics, “from A to Z”, which provides definitions on different themes, and a “Zoom” topic, which targets one of the many news research or medical.

The site has different spaces for different audiences: students, doctors, members of association of patients or volunteers for a clinical trial. A space for researchers is also implemented. An English version of the site will be proposed as early as the beginning of 2010.

The “Inserm news” site, launched in may, focuses it particularly on the latest advances of Inserm in different areas of research.
