Incontinence: New treatment option to uni-Klinik

Mainz (ddp). At the Mainz University Clinic, a new method of treatment of stress urinary incontinence in women is used since a few weeks. On Monday, the Director of the University Women’s clinic, Heinz Kölbl presented the procedure with the name «TVT-secur» in Mainz. A few centimeters long plastic string around the urethra of the woman is placed during surgery. It is to avoid that urine unintentionally happens when strain or vibration of the bubble.
