Definition

Hyperpnea is exaggeration (in amplitude) of the movements for breathing.

Medical technique

The test of hyperpnea or technique is to cause muscle contractures occur in an individual after asking him to perform hyperpnea during a more or less long period.This event is likely to cause a tetany (muscle contractions occurred) in susceptible individuals and an episode of lobe (epilepsy), in individuals with epilepsy land.
