Berlin (ddp). The sickness fund associations make front against the planned debt obligation of the health reform. A “total debt” until the end of 2007 is feasible only with «extreme contribution» of up to two percentage points, it was said from health insurance circles at a hearing of the Health Committee of the Bundestag on Monday in Berlin. Association representatives demanded a shift of the period of the debt by at least a year end 2008. normally, a dramatic loss of Member threatens some funds. According to the plans of the Ministry of health, the reduction of the funds is to prepare the introduction of the health fund in 2009. Also, the planned change of contract law for doctors should be raised at the hearing. The Federal Government wants to deal with among other things the shortage of doctors in East Germany. On Wednesday, the Cabinet wants to adopt the Bill.
