Drug for regulating intestinal motor. The trimebutine is used in the treatment of pain secondary to abnormalities of transit (passage of the contents) of the intestine and gall bladder.

Indication
Pain disorders of intestinal transit.

Dosage
Adult: 1 dose of 15 ml oral suspension (or 1 bag, or 1 tablet) 3 times a day.
or 1 suppository 1 or 2 times a day.
For some people, the dosage (amount of drug absorbed) may be increased up to a dose of 15 ml or 6 packets or even 6 tablets per day. Children over 5 years: 1 dose of 10 ml oral suspension 3 times per day, or a pouch 2 times per day.
Child of less than 5 years: measuring 1 scoop filled up to the mark (which corresponds to the weight of the child) 3 times per day

Adverse effect
Allergic skin reaction.

Contraindications
The trimebutine should not be used in certain diseases, particularly for phenylketonuria (due to the presence of aspartam): it is a disease characterized by an accumulation in the body of phenylalanine (component of the protein amino acid) and derivatives phenylpyruvic acid.

Precautions in use
This medicine contains carbohydrates (sugar), it is necessary to be taken into account.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The effect of this drug during pregnancy is not known with precision. The trimebutine should not be used in women breastfeeding.

Comments
It is necessary to rinse the measuring scoop with water before the back into the bottle.
