CORVASAL Molsidomine tablets 2 mg and 4 mg. Action
Drug belonging to the family of the sydnonimines, vasodilator (to open the calibre of the vessels) and possessing also the multiple properties (superimposable properties to those of the Nitrated derivatives: trinitrine). Molsidomine also has platelet antiagrégantes properties.
Molsidomine belongs to the family of the antiangineux (with the ability to treat angina pectoris secondary to a decrease in the size of the coronary arteries that irrigate the myocardium: the heart muscle).

Indication
• Prevention and treatment of angina pectoris

Dosage
The usual dosage varies depending on the severity of the disease.
• Generally, 1/2 tablet, 2 mg 3 times daily. This dosage can be increased to 1 Tablet 4 mg 4 times daily.

Contraindications
The association with Sildenafil is contraindicated.
In the event of hypotension (low blood pressure), i.e. in hypotendues people, this medication can be dangerous.

Adverse effects
• Headaches (headaches) especially at the beginning of treatment. This can be avoided by gradually increasing the amount of drug absorbed.
• Decrease in blood pressure (usually moderate) with sometimes collapse (cyanosis, significant acceleration of heart rate, cold sweat due to a sudden fall in blood pressure)
• Exceptionally: dizziness, pruritus (itching) and digestive disorders

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
It is reported (cancer) carcinogenic effects in some animal studies. Molsidomine decision-making is also contraindicated during breastfeeding.
