COLTRAMYL Thiocolchicoside tablets and form injection. Action
Drug with myorelaxant power (for muscle relaxation) and used in the treatment of painful muscle contractures (torticollis among others) add-on.

Indication
• Painful contractures
• Low back pain
• Mesotherapy used for rheumatic conditions combining a component of muscle contracture secondary

Adverse effects
• Skin allergy
• Stomach pain (épigastralgie)
• Diarrhea
• Restlessness or transient numbness, especially for the injectable form

Dosage
1 to 3 tablets a day to swallow with a glass of water.
1-2 ampoules per day by the intramuscular route.

Contraindications
Breastfeeding

Precautions in use
In pregnancy, the effect of this drug on the unborn child is not known with precision. This is the reason for which its use is discouraged during pregnancy. If a pregnancy starts during thiocolchicoside therapy, the medication should be stopped and close monitoring ‘ by ultrasound among others) the development of the f? tus is necessary.

Comments
The occurrence of diarrhea during treatment by thiocolchicoside requires the reduction of the amount of absorbed drug (dosage)
