Definition

Arythénoïde cartilage is a cartilage of the larynx at the posterior (rear) and superior comes (above) of the cricoïde bone on cartilage arythénoïde insert the muscles that make up the vocal cords. Aryténoïdes cartilage are sufficiently mobile to lead the opening of the larynx movement of inspiration that is when the air penetrates the lungs.
