Osnabrück (CNN) – the nationwide well-known caricaturist Fritz Wolf died at the age of 83 after an operation. The reported “Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung”, for the Wolf had drawn up most recently in its Thursday Edition. The municipality confirmed the Todesnachricht. Therefore, Wolf died on Sunday. Wolf was been awarded the lower Saxon Prize for journalism for his political cartoons – also for the magazine “Stern”, “Brigitte”, or “Time”. (hk)
