Definition

Term derived from Greek kustis: bladder and kêlé: hernia. Synonym: cystocele (the) hernia part or all of the bladder including the commitment of the bladder into the vagina (earlier colpocèle) constitute the start of genital prolapse. Usually, the cystocele is defined as the descent of the bladder into the vagina. More specifically it occurs mainly in women who have had multiple pregnancies, after menopause, and is written most often of a colpocèle that is of a subsidence of the vagina and uterine prolapse that is of a total descent of the uterus sometimes. Symptoms Most often no gene in the evacuation of the bladder during urination (evacuation of urine) effort Urinary Incontinence (inability to hold urine in an effort) examination of the pelvis (basin) shows a relaxation of some muscles in this region with sometimes a cupping of the anterior wall (forward) when the posterior wall is maintained. In the reverse case i.e. when there is a bulge of the posterior wall this indicates the presence of a rectocele. The rectocele is a protrusion of the rectum (the last part of the colon), into the vagina. This is due to the release of the means of fixation of support of the rectum. The anterior rectal wall (forward) and the posterior vaginal wall (back) backs without interposition of peritoneum. The peritoneum is a membrane of a cell wall sheet applied against abdominal and pelvic walls, and a visceral slip which covers or engaine organs of the cavity formed by the abdomen and the pelvis. The rectocele part of genital prolapse (sagging of the vagina and or uterus). Treatment Rehabilitation of the perineum (area of the basin includes the vulva, anus, and surrounding tissue) which is intended to remuscler the perineum. Surgery (cystopexie) whose purpose is to replace the bladder in the basin, which is in its original position.
