In particular, the contact of the own animals to wild birds and their body fluids should be prevented, because avian influenza will be transferred in this way. In an emergency, the temporary position of birds in stables and the cover of picture and Futterplätzen could prevent possible contamination. The spokesman stressed that the influenza pandemic of scientists feared could be triggered not by the pathogens detected in birds in Asia. The pathogen should be transferable from person to person.
