The nicorandil is an ester of nicotinamide with a vasodilatory action.

Indications
Prophylactic treatment of the crisis of angina of effort. This treatment can be taken alone or combined with other antiangineux such as beta-blockers and/or calcium channel blockers of mixed type (this nitrate and molsidomine).

Dosage
The starting dose should be 5 mg 2 times daily for 2 to 7 days. Usual dose: 10 mg 2 times daily, and if necessary 20 mg 2 times daily.
