Definition

Acetic acid is the organic acid from essentially the degradation of pyruvic acid and butyric acid. Vinegar contains acetic acid which is in many antiseptic products i.e. anti-infective and buffer i.e. solution which limits changes in pH of medium the addition of an acid or a base. Acetic acid is in the form of a colourless liquid with the odor is choking is what gives vinegar its particular taste.
