A report advocating the sale of pharmaceutical products in small shops

(Paris – Relax news/health – medical .net)-Wednesday, February 20, Robert Rochefort, President of the Credoc, released a report to the Minister of housing and the city, Christine Boutin. Dubbed “A trade for the city”, he made different proposals to revitalize trade in the city. Among them, the report proposes to allow the sale of pharmaceutical products common in some small neighborhood shops, as is already done in some countries.

Of the report, it is not to authorize the sale of drugs to medical prescription, reserved “legitimately require the intervention of a graduate pharmacist”. The objective would be to supply routine medical products, “many neighbourhoods without a nearby pharmacy”.

These businesses could offer a “packs, first-aid products, products of maintenance for contact lenses, vitamins”, and other “border products with the parapharmacy”, but the report would go further, by allowing drugs in common use, such as “aspirin, paracetamol, and sore throat pastilles”.

The authors propose that traders are “short training with a pharmacist refer to identify consumers with obvious behavior disorders”. These medications would be reserved for stores “with Northwind off free service”, as the tobacco offices and stores. “Next”.
